Swagat® LATEX PROTEK  is a highly potent SBR based milky liquid specially developed to improve the properties of cementitious compositions. Swagat ® LATEX PROTEK when used in combination with standard quality of ordinary Portland cement, it enhances the mechanical properties such as bonding (adhesion) with various building materials, flexural, compression, and impact strength. It acts as a waterproofing cum bonding agent when used in repair & plastering mortars, waterproofing cement slurries, bond coats, anti saltpeter mortars, and multipurpose mortar admixture for grouts. It provides excellent resistance to abrasion and weathering. Swagat ® LATEX PROTEK improves the thin section fragility of cement when used as a coating.

Directions for Use

• Ensure that the surface is adequately cleaned and is free of oil, grease, and loosely adhering materials.
• Before application, ensure that the surface is damp but in a touch dry condition.
• Mix Swagat® LATEX PROTEK    with clean water as per the ratio specified in the table below as per the intended use to make a milky white dispersion.
• Add this dispersion with cement, sand, and other aggregates (where applicable) to prepare the concrete, mortar, putty, or waterproof slurry coat in the ratio outlined in the table below.
• The prepared material must be used within 20-30 minutes.
• To provide adequate waterproofing, two coats of the waterproofing slurry are recommended.
• To be protected by screed on top for enhanced life.
• Curing with wet burlap or water spray for 3-5 days.

Safety  &  Storage

• Material when stored in a cool dry place and remains in unopened condition has a shelf life of approximately 1 year.
• Although Swagat® LATEX PROTEK is non-toxic and non-inflammable, it is recommended to wear gloves when using the material. In case of contact with eyes, wash with water immediately.
